Custom Creation LAB
Since its creation in 2008, La Boite concept's R&D laboratory - CC LAB - has been developing multiple internationally patented audio technologies.
The "La Première" model, designed and developed by Guillaume and Timothée Cagniard, is an all-in-one system with the silhouette of an arcade terminal, embodying La Boite concept's vision: high-end, custom-built speakers that are both all-in-one and stereophonic, and adapted to contemporary uses.
In 2010, CC LAB developed the LD (the first Hifi station for the computer) incorporating its Wide Sound® technology , which uses sound reflection to extend stereophony and broadcast totally immersive sound through a compact, one-piece volume.
This was followed by patents for Wide sound integrated into the Cube and Wide sound W models. In 2017, after 7 years of research, our laboratory unveiled the Active Pression Reflex® (PR) technology, which offers exceptionally wide spectrum reproduction thanks to the use of 2 digitally controlled loudspeakers (including 1 internal woofer) in a hermetically sealed chamber.
In 2019, CC LAB launches Wide Sound 3.0 of its LX product, which provides exceptionally wide and precise reproduction thanks to the use of 2 convex baffles for listening without loss of directivity at high frequencies, whatever the position of the listener or the volume of the room.
Backed by our expertise and experience in the audio field, our laboratory is also open to collaborations with other brands. We are able to design and produce tailor-made products, whether one-offs or mass-produced, to meet the specific needs of our partners. Our commitment to innovation and quality remains constant, whatever the nature of the project. CC LAB has thus carried out numerous creations with partners and customers, ranging from the customization of speakers and turntables from our range to the design and creation of new products and technologies.
The heritage of La Boite concept is also the conviction that a quality product is created without compromise, and that each component must be thought out and developed from A to Z. CC LAB La Boite concept pursues a constant R&D policy in its historic core business of loudspeakers: each product is designed, developed and perfected in-house in its laboratory in Soorts-Hossegor, in the Landes region of France.
This enables it to innovate every year, creating new high-performance products both for its La Boite concept brand and for other companies wishing to entrust it with R&D and loudspeaker manufacturing.
