How do I connect my speaker to Bluetooth®?
The Bluetooth® connection between your device and the LX takes just a few steps:
- Activate Bluetooth® mode on your phone or tablet
- Switch on the LX by turning the volume knob
- On the control panel, press Bluetooth, then briefly press "Pair"
- Search for the LX on your device, then pair them up.
Now you can play music from your phone or tablet.
What's the best place for my speaker?
Thanks to La Boite concept's patented Widesound 3.0® technology for immersive sound diffusion, the LX speaker delivers the same fidelity of sound, whatever its position in your room, so it can be installed wherever you like.
What is the Bluetooth® range on this speaker?
The maximum range of a Bluetooth speaker is 10 meters. If this distance is exceeded, the sound jerks and eventually cuts out.
This distance may vary depending on the environment in which you use these devices. For example, there may be sources of wireless interference (such as microwave ovens) or physical obstacles (such as walls or human bodies) that affect the effective range of your Bluetooth. If such factors affect Bluetooth functionality, bring the two devices closer together and try again.
Here is a list of potential interference materials:
- wood, glass and many synthetic materials: low interference
- water, bricks, marble: medium interference
- plaster, concrete, shielded glass: high interference
- metal: very high interference
How do I change my belt?
Changing your belt is a quick procedure that may require several tries:
- First, remove the previous belt
- Place your new belt on top of your turntable, making sure that the axis of the turntable is inside the circle of the belt
- Using your left index finger, pass the belt through the notch in the pulley, then hold the position until the belt is in place.
- With your right hand, place the belt on the edge of the turntable, then, while holding it, turn the platter until it makes a complete turn.
Your belt is now in place.
How do I change my stylus?
The LX turntable arm is fitted with an Ortofon OM10 stylus. The pickup consists of two parts: the cartridge, screwed onto the arm, and the stylus, mounted on the cartridge. To replace it, pull gently on the stylus to detach it from the cartridge, then insert the new stylus in its place.
How do I connect the turntable to the speaker?
To connect the LX turntable to the speaker, you'll find an RCA cable and a power supply in the product packaging. Start by connecting these two cables to the LX ports. Then, with the help of another person to carry the turntable, connect the other ends to the dedicated ports on the underside of the turntable. Finally, pre-amplify your turntable by pushing the knob above the RCA ports to the right, in "PHONO" mode. It's important to also connect the metal fork on both sides to ground the turntable. This will prevent background noise when listening.
How many shock absorbers (springs) should I get with my LX? (Excluding LX X Turntable)
For the LX Turntable, 4 springs are required. For the "standard" LX model (without integrated turntable) we supply 5 shock absorbers, the 5th is only required for heavier turntables.
We do not supply springs for the LX X Turntable.

How do I connect my speaker to Bluetooth®?
The Bluetooth® connection between your device and PR LINK takes just a few steps:
- Activate Bluetooth® mode on your phone or tablet
- Switch on the PR LINK by pressing the push-button for a few seconds.
- Select the Bluetooth® source by pressing briefly on the push-button.
- Press the cover on the back of your PR LINK to lift it up, then remove it.
- Press the "BT PAIR" button on the top of the speaker, next to the various sources, once, and the Bluetooth® indicator will flash. The Bluetooth® indicator will flash.
- Search for the PR LINK on your device, then pair them up.
- Replace the cover on top of the speaker.
Now you can play music from your phone or tablet.
What's the best place for my speaker?
The PR LINK has a vent on the back, commonly known as the "Bass Reflex", which draws in air to boost the volume of the speaker's low frequencies. When your speaker is stuck too close to a wall or enclosed, the sound can seem muffled. We advise you to place your speaker at least 15 centimetres from the wall, and to avoid placing it in too small a space (e.g. a closed bookcase). Ideally, the PR LINK loudspeaker can be placed on its stand, so that it's at optimum listening height. You'll find it in the "Accessories" section of our website.

How do I connect my speaker to Bluetooth®?
The Bluetooth® connection between your device and the PR/01 takes just a few steps:
- Activate Bluetooth® mode on your phone or tablet.
- Switch on the PR/01 by pressing the PR/01 push-button sideways for a few seconds.
- Select the Bluetooth® source by pressing the push-button sideways for a few seconds.
- Gently pull the PR/01 drawer out a few centimetres, then press the "Pair" button on the PR01 control panel. The Bluetooth® indicator will flash.
- Find the PR/01 on your device and pair them up.
Now you can play music from your phone or tablet.

- On the control panel, press Bluetooth® and then once on "Pair" (1 short press). The Bluetooth® indicator will flash.
- Search for the Cube on your device and pair them up.
Now you can play music from your phone or tablet.

How do I connect my turntable to my speakers?
Use the RCA cable supplied with your turntable: connect the RCA output of your turntable to the RCA input of your loudspeaker. You can also use an RCA / Auxiliary cable: in this case, connect the RCA end of the cable to the turntable's RCA output, and the Auxiliary end to your speaker's Auxiliary input. The Square turntable has two modes: pre-amplified or non-pre-amplified, so it can be adapted to any audio system. If you have a system with amplifier and pre-amplifier, please press the "Phono" tab towards the turntable to activate the non-pre-amplified mode. Conversely, if you don't have a pre-amplifier, pull the pin towards the back of the turntable to activate pre-amplified mode.
How do I change my stylus?
The arm of the Square turntable is fitted with an Ortofon OM10 diamond. The pickup consists of two parts: the cartridge, screwed onto the arm, and the stylus, mounted on the cartridge. The stylus is simply pushed onto the cell. To replace it, pull gently on the stylus to detach it from the cell, then insert the new stylus in its place.

What's the Escape streamer for?
The Escape streamer is a wireless audio streamer that turns your speakers into a wireless multi-room sound system by connecting to your home Wi-Fi network. In other words, it means you can play synchronized music in multiple rooms of your home. For example, if you have four speakers in your home, with an easy setup, you can then enjoy your music anywhere on your four speakers simultaneously.
How do I install my Escape streamer on my speaker?
If you are installing the Escape streamer on the PR LINK, use the USB-C / Escape streamer adapter supplied with the speaker and follow the instructions. If you are installing the Escape streamer on another La Boite concept loudspeaker (Cube, LX, LXX, PR/01...) or another brand of loudspeaker, please follow the instructions below.
Which speakers is my Escape streamer compatible with?
For all speakers with an Auxiliary, RCA or Toslink input. The Escape streamer has a Jack 3.5 / Toslink output, and is supplied with several adapters for connecting it to your audio system: 1 x Auxiliary cable, 1 x Toslink cable, 1 x Auxiliary / RCA cable.
Which streaming system is my Escape streamer compatible with (AirPlay 2...)?
The Escape streamer is compatible with AirPlay2® and GoogleCast® streaming systems.
What is the range of the Escape streamer?
The Escape streamer uses Wi-Fi broadcasting: the range therefore depends on the location of your box and its speed.
Which streaming platforms are compatible with the Escape streamer?
Compatible platforms include Spotify Connect®, Apple Music®, Tidal®, RoonReady®, YouTube Music®.
Does the Escape streamer work with all networks?
Yes, the Escape streamer is compatible with 2.4G and 5.0G Wi-Fi routers.
