A sleek design, with no visible cables or chassis, only the record seems to float on the surface of the speaker. An anti-vibration platter with custom-made shock absorbers is integrated into this model to allow optimal listening. This version is equipped with a shelf for storing your vinyl records

True to his approach, La Boite concept relied on its historical know-how by optimizing a loudspeaker designed 40 years ago by the Cagniard family: the TWZ tweeter.
Four years of research within its integrated laboratory have enabled the optimization of this tweeter with exceptional performance, both smooth and precise, by improving its directivity thanks to a new dispersion cone associated with 2 convex deflectors.
These internal baffles allow sound to be reflected at the rear of the speaker for quality listening, without loss of directionality in the treble, even when the listener is standing or in a position far from the speaker in a room with a large volume.
This innovation benefits from the Wide Sound 3.0®️ patent , filed by our integrated laboratory CC LAB.

The LX Turntable features a removable vinyl cover to protect the turntable. When not in use, the cover can be stored under the vinyl shelf, held in place by a strap.

To celebrate its 10th anniversary La Boite concept called on designer and musician Clément Héllégouarch to help design its latest innovation: the LX series. Passionate about creation in all its facets, Clément Hellégouarch offers a world oriented towards practical, technical and aesthetic optimization. Also a musician, he spent five years working with La Boite concept and Timothée Cagniard, developing their shared vision of loudspeakers with rigor, passion and friendship.

How do I change my belt?

Changing your belt is a quick procedure that may require several tries:

- First, remove the previous belt.
- Place your new belt on top of your turntable, making sure that the axis of the turntable is inside the circle of the belt.
- Using your left index finger, pass the belt through the notch in the pulley, then hold the position until the belt is in place.
- With your right hand, place the belt on the edge of the turntable, then, while holding it, turn the turntable until it makes a complete turn.

Your belt is now in place.

How do I change my stylus?

The LX turntable arm is fitted with an Ortofon OM10 stylus. The pickup consists of two parts: the cartridge, screwed onto the arm, and the stylus, mounted on the cartridge. To replace it, pull gently on the stylus to detach it from the cartridge, then insert the new stylus in its place.

How do I connect the turntable to the speaker?

To connect the LX turntable to the speaker, you'll find an RCA cable and a power supply in your product packaging. Start by connecting these two cables to the LX ports. Then, with the help of another person to carry the turntable, connect the other ends to the dedicated ports on the underside of the turntable. Finally, pre-amplify your turntable by pushing the knob above the RCA ports to the right, in "PHONO" mode. It's important to also connect the metal fork on both sides to ground the turntable. This will prevent background noise when listening.

What is the Bluetooth range on this speaker?

The maximum range of a Bluetooth speaker is 10 meters. If this distance is exceeded, the sound jerks and eventually cuts out.

This distance may vary depending on the environment in which you use these devices. For example, there may be sources of wireless interference (such as microwave ovens) or physical obstacles (such as walls or human bodies) that affect the effective range of your Bluetooth. If such factors affect Bluetooth functionality, bring the two devices closer together and try again.

Here is a list of potential interference materials:
- wood, glass and many synthetic materials: low interference
- water, bricks, marble: medium interference
- plaster, concrete, shielded glass: high interference
- metal: very high interference

How many shock absorbers (springs) should I get with my LX?

For the LX Turntable, 4 springs are required. For the "standard" LX model (without integrated turntable) we supply 5 shock absorbers, the 5th is only required for heavier turntables.

What's the best place for my speaker?

Thanks to technology Widesound 3.0® patented by La Boite concept which allows for immersive sound diffusion, the LX speaker delivers the same sound fidelity, regardless of its position in your room, and can therefore be installed wherever you want.

What is an active loudspeaker?

An active loudspeaker is a type of speaker that integrates an amplifier directly inside, simplifying installation and operation. Unlike passive speakers, which require an external amplifier, active speakers offer an all-in-one solution. Often described as "Plug & Play", they require only a simple connection to an audio source (such as a smartphone, computer or turntable) to operate. There's no need for additional cables or devices - everything is integrated, making for a fast, hassle-free listening experience.
