Acoustic and modular

LINES is a modular piece of furniture, specially designed to accommodate all your audio equipment, ensuring optimal listening. LINES is designed to absorb vibrations and avoid edge effects. Adapted to all types of listening, to the variety of your equipment but also to your space. LINES can be arranged horizontally or vertically, in multiples or on its own, and is infinitely combinable: place and move your shelves as you wish to create a bookcase, TV cabinet, enfilade, column, coffee table, etc. LINES can also accommodate a collection of leather accessories (sold separately): vinyl holder, pocket, vinyl pouch.

Manager

This piece of furniture, made in Europe, was developed using natural materials with a 0-plastic approach. The leather for the accessories comes from our partner Remy Carriat's family tannery in the Basque country.
The cable clamps are made from our own leather scraps.
The wood for the shelves comes from eco-managed European forests.
The absorbent felt lining the shelves is made from natural French wool.

Acoustic optimization

Although particularly suited to La Boite concept's PR range and SQUARE turntable, LINES can accommodate most small speakers, turntables and amplifiers with elegance.

To absorb vibrations, the metal structure is made of steel wire, and each shelf is sheathed in wool felt. Leather cable clamps, made from our own leather scraps, conceal the cables along the steel structure.

Designer of the AP and LINES

In 2009, because he believes in total commitment, he gave his name to the interior design and architecture studio he set up and launched: "Stephan Lanez". His resolutely contemporary creativity is nourished by both the functional aspect and the history of the object. His objects combine high aesthetic value with meticulous attention to practical perfection. A furniture design graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, Stephan Lanez holds a post-graduate diploma from ENSAD. After eight years as artistic director of the contemporary carpet publishing house Chevalier édition, he went on to collaborate with Red Edition, Perrouin, Verreum, Bilum and La Boite concept. In 2021, he launches the new contemporary furniture brand "Principe". About the LINES Stéphan Lanez writes: "Creating a new type of furniture for La Boite concept was an interesting challenge. And if this new furniture could be declined in several variants, it would be even better!...". That's pretty much the thinking behind this new product.
